Guide Surgery Using the Dual Optical Scan Method in a Patient with Distal Extension Base: A Case Report

Implant-guided surgery using a surgical template was introduced for prosthetic-driven implant placement. In the case of partially edentulous patient, guide is created to fit patient's tissue by overlaying cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan data on optical obtained scanning model or actual oral cavity. patients, because there are no teeth, radiographic denture manufactured, and 'dual CBCT method’ used. this report, method' with two models only overlapped one tooth healing abutment. taken after compare analyze deviation from planned position, errors within average were recorded, except rearmost implant.
